For those of you who may not know, the Junos are the Canadian equivalent to the Grammys, and Feist was definitely the artist of the hour with a 5 award walk away.

Her album,The Reminder, did the talking for an initially tongue tied Feist who recited names scribbled on her arm as she accepted her inital award of the night, Best Single, for 1,2,3,4…She went on to rack up statues for Best Album and Best Pop Album, not to mention the two she grabbed for Best Artist and Best Songwriter at the initial gala award ceremonies the previous night.

Among the winners circle were Canadian rock vets Blue Rodeo who cheers to being crowned Group of the Year while still relishing their two wins from the previous night and Michael Buble who made the cut for Fan Choice of the year.

In a category that may be a defining win for a band, Best New Group, the nominees ill Scarlett, Faber Drive, Dragonette and State of Shock all walked away empty handed as Wintersleep stole the title.

As for the other artists that couldn’t come away with some hardware…maybe they just weren’t “feisty” enough…
